If you hit Programs>Track Application>My Documents

Below is what is displayed. Does these mean they're in and scanned or not yet?

Is my photo uploaded and ready to go?

I am just confused by this "in the Post Office" business

Either your school is really really efficient, or my guess is that this tracking won't be accurate until you actually submit ERAS.

Documents that are in your post office are the only documents that have been scanned in and are ready to go, for example in your post office it is your picture that is ready to go. In my post office I have LoR 3, 5, 8, and photo listed, so this means those are the only letters + photo I have scanned in that are ready to go.

Date downloaded by dean's office is when they downloaded your designated letter writer. They have not received the letter yet but have a slot for it when it arrives. I know for a fact a lot of my letter writers have not submitted their letter but "date downloaded by dean's office" is listed for them. Hope this helps.

Program director thanks for the valuable tips and info you have been giving. It has made this stressful process a little more bearable.

Cheers

Thanks Tekena...

That makes a lot more sense. I just checked my app again today and it changed... I finalize only after I physically hand all the info to the writer.. Just finalized another 2 today.

Date Downloaded = your dean's office has scanned your letters. They are good to go!

Normally I would agree with you, but some of us have these "downloaded dates" for letters that we know haven't been written yet. So I'd bet (without actually knowing) that all of this is going to change after ERAS gets up and running in September, and that you cannot use the track documents until that point.

If it's not listed under the PostOffice, your Dean's office either hasn't received it or hasn't scanned it in.

this is probably dumb, but how do you get to PostOffice? I don't see it anywhere?..

ahh thanks... got it! so there's no way to actually see the photo? i never got to see mine since i was on an away elective when we had to pick...

what's the purpose of finalizing a LOR on ERAS?

Can I finalize one LOR at a time? I think you have to check the box next to the LOR you are finalizing, right?

thanks...
