I am planning on taking a gap year, but I'm nervous that some of my professors, such as my English professor, will forget me by then. Is there anyway I can ask him for a LOR right now, add it to the 2019 AMCAS, and then next year somehow give access to that letter back to my professor? Otherwise, I guess I'll ask him for a LOR rn and ask him to save it for next year. Any thoughts????

You can use Interfolio to collect your letters and keep them until you apply. I did not personally use it, but have heard people rave about it. I’m hoping someone can chime in who knows more about it!

If you have a composite committee letter from your school sometimes they store letters similar to interfoilio. I had letters uploaded to my premed committee login thing a year before I applied
