my school has a career center that will send my LOR's to schools that I've applied but the letters are copied from the original. Is that okay or should I ask my professors to sign all my LOR's as originals and have the career center send those.Do the medical schools really care?
I don't know if I explained my question well....Basically is it okay for the career center to send a copy of my LOR or does it need to be signed and a orginal from my professor.

Who the fark cares? If medical schools didn't like the career center's photocopying of LORs then the career center would stop doing it. DUH!

Many schools will hold onto the original and send photocopies. Dont' worry about it. Med schools just don't want to see that the letters were coming from you, or read by you. If they are originals? Cool. If they aren't? No big deal at all.

If it is not the original, do NOT have them mark it as original. That could be construed as falsifying your app and they will start to wonder about the rest of the information that you have submitted.
