Hi everyone,

I have a question, and I wanted some opinions. I am a re-applicant, so this process isn't completely new to me. When it comes to my LORs, I want to reuse the one my undergraduate research mentor gave me. The problem is, I have only been able to recently get in contact with her to get an updated copy. I have an old copy with me, but I am unsure if I should send that one in, or wait until I receive the updated copy. Most of my secondaries are completed and my other LORs have been submitted, it is just this one that is holding me up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Can you ask her how long it would take to update? I think its a fair question.
Honestly if the wait is not that long, I would er on waiting for the updated letter. As a reapplicant, you want to answer that "so what's changed" question and you definitely don't want to give the impression you just resent your last app.
