So I had two preceptors upload my LORS directly to ERAS 1.5 weeks ago.

Under the ADTS is says: "Not Uploaded to the PostOffice"

Do these LOR's not show up right away? Or did my preceptors screw something up?

...got to spend 20 mins on hold with ERAS Document "Help Line" ...in order to leave a message in which no one called me back.

Fantastic!

If your school does a "quality" review, then it is likely awaiting review from a representative at your school. You probably want to contact your school coordinator.

However, remember they are processing likely hundreds of letters. So you could wait patiently and not risk angering them. I prefer the second strategy personally.

So when they upload the LoR directly to ERAS LoR Portal, it goes to a quality review? It doesn't just automatically go right to your profile?

When my writer did a direct upload, it showed up on ERAS for a week or two. Then it disappeared for a few days (and looked like NOTHING was uploaded) until my dean's office approved it. Once the dean approves the letter, it shows up on ERAS again.

I agree with hungry student. I had a LoR show up for about a week, then disappeared. I emailed the writer, who said he didn't do anything, so I emailed ERAS who said I should contact my school. My school said they do quality review, and had the letter sitting I their queue. The lady I spoke with did it right on the spot, and it showed back up in ERAS. Your school is probably busy with the last minute rush. I'm sure they know the deadline, but if you're paranoid, a phone call or email can't hurt.

good advice in general, not to tick off people who have some power over you. however, this strategy could result in your getting burned if there's some mixup and the administrator never got the letter, or if the faculty never uploaded the LOR correctly. then you're out two weeks of waiting patiently...

this sort of thing happened with me this year with VSAS away rotations. i followed your strategy of waiting patiently until it was 2 or 3 weeks before my requested start date, only to find out that the VSAS administrators at their school never forwarded my application to the clinical department! they had just been sitting on the application doing nothing.

So that's a longwinded way of saying, I'd err on the side of caution and trying not to let administrative hiccups delay your application.
