One of my professors, who is writing me a recommendation, is moving out of state to another university. He emailed me and said he would make the amount of copies I need for the # of secondaries I expect to receive and then give me them to send on my own. He said he would give me envelopes from the University. I'm not sure if this will make the letter "unofficial". Is this okay or does he need to send them?

Thanks for help!

Hey..

this most def. makes the letter unofficial.. but i think it should be fine, cuz you're the only one who knows it.. as long as the prof signs each letter, puts it on letterhead, and gives you some envelopes from the school.. you should be fine.. schools wont know the difference...just don't spill coffee on it or leave a chocolate thumbprint or.. sthn

good luck :luck:
