This is my first post so sorry if the answer is obvious. My question is if I'm planning early decision what date should my LOR's be sent? My advisor told me August 1st, but i think he meant for regular decision.

As soon as they ask for them. This request will usually come with your secondaries. As SOON as you get that secondary, send the school your LORs. You don't even want to wait until you have finished the secondary and sent it in yourself.
