Hopefully a few of you here can give me some tips. I have to write a "resume" for one of my professors to give me an LOR for a graduate program I want to complete over the next year before I enter Dental school. I know what she wants in it, i'm just not sure what format to use. Like a normal resume you think? Do you think putting background info in there would be good. I think background would help me explain my low gpa my freshman year, but I don't want to give her tons of info that isn't important either.
I'm also somewhat intimidated by the whole idea because I did well in her class, but I don't have too many things to add to this resume. I worked, volunteered, shadowed, and did a independent research paper on a topic of my choice. Basically the average amount any pre professinal student does. Any idea on how to highlight this in the best way?

when i asked professors to write me letters for grad programs , i just gave them my regular resume which included work/volunteer/ec activities throughout my ugrad years. I also printed out a program description for them too. Then explained to them how the special masters programs work and how they were meant for people with low gpas to show to admissions committee that they are capable of handling and excelling in a medical curriculum.
