Today I was on ERAS and clicked the ADTS to check whether my LoR's had been uploaded to the post office. I realized that after the name of one of my authors it said "PD LoR" in parenthesis. I assuming this means Program Director. However I did not check the Program Director box when i was finalizing my cover sheets. Did the LoR author add this ? I'm pretty sure he's not the program director. The letter has not been uploaded yet, and I'm thinking about emailing him with a new cover sheet. Any thoughts?

Is this for a residency application or fellowship application?

its for a residency application. I'm pretty careful with everything on eras, and I'm pretty sure I didnt check the program director box.

What did you put for the specialty that the letter will be used for?

For one of my letters, I made a note to myself that it was the departmental letter (mostly because two of my letter writers have the same last name, so I wanted to do everything to distinguish them in my mind. So, in ADTS, it shows up like this:

"Firstname Lastname, MD / Pediatrics (Departmental)"

Noticed the same on one of mine today. Definitely did not mark anything to indicate the writer was PD, And the writer is not a PD...

hey i have the same problem. anyone find out how to fix this?

I was told that I must have checked the box by ERAS. I was told to create a new LOR slot and have your Dean's office upload it once again into the new spot.

Swear I didn't check that box...

Quick question. I have a LOR from a physician who is a PD. Do I check that box? I am a medical student not a resident
