LOR uploaded twice by the same author - didn't get confirmation email

Hi, My LOR writer uploaded his letter (I got an instant confirmation email) and the ERAS messaged me saying that the letter couldn't be uploaded because the paper size was wrong. I don't know how it happened but they said the paper size was 4x6, not 8.5x11. They told me to ask the letter writer to upload again with correct paper size.
I contacted the LOR writer and told him what happened and he said he corrected the paper size, made new PDF file and uploaded - I didn't get the instant confirmation email this time. I contacted the ERAS and they said they haven't received the second one.
My letter writer is not computer savvy and asked me to tell him what to do. When you update letter, you're supposed to click the button next to the PDF button to upload another letter, right? and if the writer uploads the new letter, am I supposed to get the instant confirmation email again? or not? I contacted ERAS again but haven't received message yet (probably because it's a long weekend..) I wonder if anybody had a similar experience in the past.

When they reupload the letter, you get an instant email. I have no idea what the view looks like on the uploaders end.
