LORs and transcript recieved

I sent my stuff in the 16th. I sent 3 LORs and a transcript and one of my professor sent an LOR in himself on the same day. His LOR is recieved but 3 of my LORs and transcript haven't. What's the deal? Have they gotten yours?

Two letters that were mailed separately on the same day will not necessarily be received by the recipient on the same day. It's all dependent upon the postal service, where the letter was dropped off, and what time. Don't worry if all of them didn't get there at exactly the same time. 🙂

guys will they recieve and process my LORs even though I havent submitted the application and dont plan on it until june. But I did give the LOR to the professors already. Will they get processed before I paid the fees for the schools? ( I think that only comes in after I submit?)

Actually I called them about this, they said they will not process ur LOR or transcript or match these with your name until u submit and paid AADSAS. Even after u submitted everything, still takes a long time for them to verify.

I also sent in four LORs on May 16th, last week Tuesday, and when I checked the AADSAS application online today, those LORs were still not posted. WTF?!!

And BTW, how can you find out whether AADSAS received your transcripts?

I don't see any update links in the transcript section of the AADSAS application.

You guys should probably calm down a bit. I'm sure they've received most of everything you guys have sent by now...it's just a matter of organizing it and inputting it into the database etc. These guys are being inundated with thousands of packages and letters every day...it would be unreasonable to assume they can get all of that stuff logged immediately.

You won't be able to submit your aadsas application until you fill out the coursework and personal statement. I don't think they will refuse your letter - they will probably put them in a folder along with all the other applicants who haven't submitted their apps yet. I would call/email them to be sure.

According to the answer listed for the first FAQ question pertianing to LORS, AADSAS's website states
"Letters are listed even if you have not yet submitted your AADSAS application."
and according to the transcript status page
"All received official transcripts are listed here, even if you have not yet submitted your application."
As for verification they do this regardless of if have paid or not, they just will not post your GPA until you have paid.

they still got the pending sign for my other 3 LORs and I sent them the 16th. My transcript still hasn't been posted recieved, i sent that on the 16th as well. Any of you guys got yours "recieved" on your status?

yeah same here, one LOR has been recieved-said aadsas, and the other two haven't, nor transcripts which were all sent on the same day, I won't worry about it, give it another week, I"ll try sending it again since my transcripts are free anyways=)

Ok kids, listen up. It has been scientifically proven that AADSAS is in fact the slowest and most unreliable service offered in Western free market economys. If you submitted something and AADSAS posts that they have recieved it in less than a month, the gods are smiling down upon you. Everyone should just calm down...it's going to be a long ride and AADSAS is going to make every step as slow and painful as possible. Just remember that as long as you submit earlier than most people, it doesn't matter how long AADSAS takes because your application will reach the schools earlier than most peoples. The best thing you can do after you hit that submit button is to get out and enjoy your last year of college because next year your life is going to suck. Cheers.

If you guys are panicking now because they didn't update your LOR status after you sent them two weeks ago, you all are going to be in for a rough ride. Just wait until it takes AADSAS 6 weeks or more for AADSAS to calculate your GPA and an unknown amount of time for them to send out your application. AADSAS is notoriously slow and is probably one of the most inefficient organizations out there. The rest of us have gone through the same things and have the ulcers to prove it. Try and take it easy. No sense worrying about something you have no control over. 🙂

yah..i know...but the thing is if i figure the letter is lost or they fudge it up, i can send another one right awa. I don't have total control over it, but I can prepare to fix it early.

yeah, true. But I think they probably received all the letter, just in a very slow process updating it. I called them like 2 days ago, they said they have too many letters coming in everyday, so they might have the letters in, just dont know when they will update the website.

Up to now, still no updates on all my LORs, and transcripts. 😕

My LORs were express mailed on either the 19th or the 22nd and were received and posted on the 23rd. My transcript were express mailed on the 18th and are not yet posted, but AADSAS does say that these could take up to 10 business days to post. Unfortunately for me, my physics II grade was changed from a B to a B+ four days after I sent out my transcript. An A in physics I, just doesn't look as great when you get a B in physics II.
