I'm an MS-4 applying for ophthalmology. I've gotten my 3 LOR's for SF application (2 ophtho, 1 surgery/research) and plan to use those same letters for applying to TY/prelim years through ERAS. I guess I missed the part where you can submit "up to 4 letters" to programs on ERAS. Should I request another LOR from a medicine attending or just go with 3 letters? Any advice is appreciated.

I don't think it matters much.

A few TY/prelim programs request a medicine/surgery letter. I think if you have a surg you don't need to worry about it. I don't even think you would need to worry about it if you didn't have a surg letter. My third LOR was from an ED doc and it didn't affect me.
