LORs highlighting different aspects

Would it be appropriate to ask my LORs to discuss different aspects about my application? For example, should I omit certain extracurriculars to highlight one part of my app in order for them to discuss is it in great length?

LOR writers shouldn't be discussing your ECs (beyond ones where they've engaged with you). That's your job.

They should be discussing their experience with you.

I wouldn’t say they need to split it up by your activities, but I suggested a handful of the 15 Core Competencies that AMCAS puts out for them to try to hit based on how they know me. With all my letters, most of the 15 got talked about I’d like to think!
