so where do most nontrads from other medical professions (PA, nursing ) get their LORs from if they did their sciences many years ago and are taking 1 or 2 needed classes online?

Obviously we can get some great ones from coworker attendings and professors from our prior degrees, but for the science one I'm not sure who to use . Would a LoR from my Pa professor that taught A&P be good? Or Is it preferred from a bio/chem/physics prof?

I think this is fairly school specific and you should check websites and make some inquiries. Some schools are pretty accommodating to non-trads and will accept LORs from work supervisors in lieu of professors. But some want the science professor LOR no matter what. If the schools you're interested in fall into the latter category, consider signing up for a science course you don't necessarily need in order to get a LOR. You would obviously want to research the class and professor well to avoid wasting time and money.
