Losing co-residents, options

I simply would find another program, haha. ACGME requires now only 1 month of general surgery for FM so I doubt you'd find residents, even if paid, covering. **** that.

If their PD says surprise -- they now how two months do you really think many would quit? Doubtful. Probably depends on how marketable those residents were in the first place. But like most things in residency people whine a bit but muscle through. The real impact would more likely be seen in the next match.
