Louisville?

I received and e-mail for an interview invite a couple of days ago. If you look at stats on predents, I'm not really sure what they're looking for... it seems pretty random to me (I have pretty average stats and very average EC's).
 
Application complete Aug. 21, Interview invite for Aug. 31 sent on Aug. 26.
 
I got my app complete email 8/3....no interview...

are my stats that crummy? 😕

I'm in the same boat. I got the application complete e-mail 7/30.. Not going to lie, I was expecting an interview from them. I still am. Stay hopeful! Maybe this will be our week!!! :nod:
 
I got app complete e-mail about 2 weeks ago, but still nothing else. I am wondering if they have noticed that my LOE's have come in... I am going to call them tomorrow.

My LOE was late as well. I called and was told my app is under review. There was no email about completion or AADSAS change. Now is just wait...
I loved the school when I visited.
 
kinda miss louisville. Use to work in the medical center and dental school is just across the street. Good school if you get in.

I just got an interview invite from them today! Kind of short notice (they want me to come this Friday or next) and I totally did not expect it, but I'm pretty excited!
 
Ah, congrats to all with interviews. I hope I get one soon, I got the app complete last week so I'm obsessively checking emails (thank god for a phone that has that capability).
 
I got an email saying my app was completel July 30th and I just got invited for an interview today for October 2nd 🙂

This makes me feel better! I got my app complete email 8/3! Congrats girl!

I got an email saying my app was complete today sep 1st and they also sent me an email today inviting me to interview Sep 11th. Are there any places that give you the scoop on the interview?

I received app complete email 08/05 and I still have not heard from them.
@Murl, wow congrats.
 
I see on predents that most people that got invites were from first batch, possibly second?
I wonder which mailing Louisville is working on now and when to start worrying LOL
 
People who got interview from Louisville, could you please post you DAT and GPA?

Congrats on everyone who has received invites! At my interview they said they only interview about 400 people and are expecting close to 3,000 applications. Including people who come off the waitlist and factoring in people who get accepted to Louisville and turn them down, its about a 1 in 3 chance of matriculating if you get an interview!
 
One in three isn't too bad. I hope it is higher for me since I am in state.

Don't forget to post your experience in the interview feedback section. If you've used it, you know how helpful it can be so be a good sport and help the next person. I've seen a good number of people come for interviews so far and I'm willing to bet most of them are on SDN. Good luck on your interviews and I'll see you around the school. Has anyone been invited to the Louisville interviews in Salt Lake City? They sent out the email at the beginning of August saying they most likely would be interviewing there 9/26-9/27.

They send you an invite via email.. you'll know bc its titled Louisville Interview Invitation or something like that and you have to go to a link on their webpage to confirm the date, give them your name, AADSAS number, etc.
 
What are some good questions to ask the adcom? I can't think of many questions right now.

so I am guessing since I got an app complete on Aug 1st....tht im not getting an interview..since i havent heard anything from them since then......

For everyone with interview invites, how long after your app was complete did you get the email?
 
Just a heads up, I just called Louisville and she said that Salt Lake City invites are being emailed out today and tomorrow.
 
Just got an email for the Salt Lake interview, but I didn't want to go all the way to utah when I already live in the midwest and can drive to Louisville so I switched it to the first day they had open, OCT 30. Kind of a bummer its so far away, but now I can take my wife.
 
I had an interview at Louisville on 9/11 and I absolutely loved it! The students, faculty, and staff were very cordial and all my questions were answered by the time I left. I have "average" stats, but they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and the other interviewees. The whole interview day was well designed and organized and they give you a flash drive with all the school's information. I hope I get in this school…

Haha, apparently that wasn't an app complete email that I got on 8/17, it was just an "app being previewed" email. I just got the real app complete email today. Since it took so long for my app to finally make it to review, I missed out on being considered for the SLC interviews. Oh well....
