Which DO schools have lowest avg's in terms of GPA/MCAT?
Which DO schools have lowest avg's in terms of GPA/MCAT?
RVU is probably going to have some low scores after whats been going on over there recently.
i believe Pikeville has one of the lowest gpa listed
LMU-DCOM Class of 2012 stats are as follows (I was sent this before I interviewed there):
Mean Cum:3.38
Mean Sci:3.27
Mean Non-Sci:3.5
MCAT:24.4
I belive the MCAT is actually higher than some other schools, right? I'm not sure about the GPA's. Anyone else have stats for other schools?
Some schools have geographic preferences that really piss me off. For example: UNM takes 95% of its students from NM, LECOM takes preference to students from Northern PA (obviously not all it has a lot of seats), Pikeville wants students for rural Appalachian states (I don't know how many students are not appalachian), ect
How does a lay student at a big state university with say a 3.3 and a 25 MCAT get in? Do we have to have outstanding super unique personal statements? How do we do super well on interviews? I'm confused.
