Hey Guys my DAT ended up coming out really good, 23 as my avg, I studied for 2months straight, morning to evening! The problem is my GPA REALLY sucks. 2.5 is the avg of both Science and Cum. Should I take more Science classes, do graduate school or start a postbac program???
Any help would be great!!!! THANKS GUYS!

Mostly likely you will be accepted by NYU with those stats. Sorry I don't really know about having a low GPA and high DAT score, I was in the middle. Hopefully, someone else will give you some insight, but NYU for sure loves high DAT scores and cares less about GPA as per what I have seen occur this cycle. GOOD LUCK!

I say you do both at the same time, i mean, porstbac and more science classes.

I would combine the two--a postbac that has all science courses and take the upper level courses (biochem, micro, etc)

just remember postbac programs tend to be competitive and cut throat. i would recommend getting into some type of graduate degree program (masters). so your throat doesn't get cut. or just taking upper level courses at your own pace at your local college.

Thank You all to who have responded, your responses were greatly appreciated so I believe the master direction seems to be something I am going to pursue!
Thanks again,
