Hello,
I am very new to this forum. I am currently a junior with a major in Biology. I am trying to figure what options I have in terms of getting to medical school. I know that I have no shot of getting accepted after graduation, but I was wondering about a post-bac program? I currently have a 2.89 cumulative and a 2.5 science GPA. After this current semester, I will have a 3.0 cumulative. In terms of extra-curricular activities, I hold multiple e-board positions on campus. I have also been working as a medical scribe for the past year. I also have a good number of community service hours. Any advice is appreciated.

You have a good amount of work to do and Goro's advice will be very helpful! The plus side is that you're still in college, so you can begin to plan ahead if you want to continue your dream towards medical school. Do you have any clinical hours?

Yes, I have been working as a medical scribe for over a year now. I apologize for the late reply I didn't realize how to turn notifications on so I thought no one answered by post. I am now a senior, I was able to raise my GPA to a 3.1. Here are my current stats.

Bio 1 = C
Bio 2 = B
Chem 1 = B-
Chem 2 = C+
Calculus = C-
Orgo 1 = C
Orgo 2 = C-
Physics 1= A
Physics 2 = A

I would suggest retaking some of these courses and making an A, as well as taking some upper 3000-4000 level courses and making A's so that you can show that you can handle the rigors of medical school.
