Has anyone with a **lower** MCAT mark been asked for interviews yet? I'm tired of waiting😴

My friend got into MCW with a 3.9 and a 25, but it really helped that she was instate...did you apply to state schools-as long as you're not Cali? Do you have a good gap to balance that score?

I had a 24P in April and a 23O in August and have 3 interviews coming up at CCLCM, SUNY Upstate and UVM. So please do not give up yet.
P.S: My GPA is above a 3.8 so maybe that helped.

I got a 25 O just like you with a 9 VR and 8 in BS and PS but I am in a BS/MD program that doesnt require a minimum score. I think that with a high gpa, shadowing and letters of rec you have a shot somewhere. If not, MCAT is something you can improve on greatly. I know that if I had studied for a few more months my score would proabably have shot up. Good luck!

I have a 24 0 and just got an interview invite yesterday at SUNY Upstate......don't let hope go....just keep your head up...and i'm International.....if i can get one i'm sure your invites will be flooding in🙂

my friend got a 25 on the MCAT, had a gpa ~3.5, and she just started at the University of Hawaii (in-state) this fall.

so i'd have to agree with everyone and say don't lose hope. if you are passionate about medicine, you'll find a way into med school 🙂

I didnt get into my state medical school with a 3.7 and a 27m mcat. I had good ECs so I wasted a year waiting for a rejection letter. I should have spent that time making myself a better applicant by contacting doctors and getting even more clinical exp. I hope you make it in but it would never hurt to try and do something while you wait.

Same here...25O and 4 (allopathic) interviews already which I would attribute to answered prayers, **careful** selection of schools and staying proactive. I call the schools I applied to like every 2 weeks. So don't give up but I think to get a chance, you've got to show you want this better than most people with higher stats. Goodluck!
