Hi all
I have received my score and it is only 79.It says as pass,but below it is written as the candidate has not completed the requirements for National Board certificate.Can someone please explain what that is?I feel bad after seeing this score.I worked hard and atlast ended up only with 79.

dont worry too much..the average score is dropping this year and many are scorin in lower 80s...and for the remark "not eligible..." it just means that you will not get a certificate...the national board certificate is given only after clearing part 2

if part 2, there are many people failing in part 2 this year.

i only get 75 for part 1 this april, 🙁 you are ,much better than me.

Thank you part1 .I was thinking of only writing part 2.I have to give TOEFL before that.Are u going to give part 1 again.

You can wait for another year if you are willing to give those applicants who have lower scores and GPA more chance to get admitted this year. It's your call. I am sure there are many people here will be gloating if you wait another year.

Apply early with what ever you have at hand. Take part2 and send the updates. Every journey begins with a small step forward.

thanks guys, it's not that i have got bad score, it's good for 1st attempt but ya this year those students will also apply which got in 90's in like maybe 3rd attempt so obviously those will b selected

Can anyone post their raw scores if the received a scaled score between 75-79? i am taking the exam in a few days and am so scared i am going to fail.

i got 75 in part 1 ma stats are part 1 75, toefl 97, gpa 3.51 and lots of awards, voluteer work , weorked as assistant and had 2 yr work experience....what are ma chances...i think 0 but guys help me do i have a little chance 1 % so i cud apply to school....

Amen. I'd be interested to see the raw scores that wind up with a composite in the 75-80 range.
