Low pitch -more power? Anyone.

In one of the Kaplan videos it has been stated that low pitches (low frequencies) are transmitted with greater power, thus more energy, more intensity, which completely confuses me as I think that E=hf and v=f*lambda, so low pitch -> large waves -> small frequency -> smaller Energy -> smaller Power -> smaller Intensity?

Could someone clarify this for me? Thank you!
 
I believe sound waves have don't behavior like EM waves due to the difference in propagation.
