low QR....will it ruin me????

hey guys....i've been a long time creeper on these threads but this is my first post! Dilemma: i just took the DAT april 1st and am pretty pleased with my scores, except i didn't do so well on QR... and i REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to take the whole thing over again because of it!

my scores:
bio- 22
chem- 23
ochem- 24
RC- 21
QR- 17😡
PAT- 22
TS- 23
AA- 21

my gpa is 4.0 all around (ok....it's a 3.98 but i like to pretend that 1 credit hour B didn't happen 😀)

from what i've read so far, the consensus on QR has been that it is probably the least important score on the test....so retake? no retake? thanks in advance....i love this site! maybe i'll get around to doing a breakdown soon🙄

You are hilarious!! LOL but in short answer...no dont retake...a 17 isnt low enough to mandate a retake especially on QR!! 🙂

You will be fine. I wouldn't retake it unless your QR was like a 12. Great scores btw.

You have to retake. Math is very important for dental school. You will need at least.... a 19? (guessing here)

I am with you on this.
How come people with 4.0, 23 DAT dont have a clue about their chances? I lost my respect for them. They are just "book" smart but not "street" smart.

If you have a 4.0, 23 DAT, you can't get in dental schools. You should consider another career choice. Give it up.

Its so important that its not even on the Canadian DAT which is accepted at most US schools. You guys are hilarious - I had a 19 AA 16 PAT when I got accepted in 1998. Scored 92 and 88 on the boards in yr 2 and 4 respectively.

mean turds! haha thanks for the serious answers tho! i know a 17 isn't abysmal but i've just read that there are cutoff scores and such so that worried me a bit.
