I just found out about this program and have garnered some interest. The program only seats 25, correct? Is it full yet? That's a low number. It is new from what I heard from another post, so they are actively seeking to fill the seats, right?

It looks good because top achievers get automatic interviews at Loyola, but I'm wondering..since it's new, how might it fare at other medical schools? How do these programs usually do in their first year? I suppose this question also applies to University of Michigan's MS in Physio program too, since it's brand new as well (no linkage/guaranteed interview though) even though it looks as apps are closed.

How is this different from the Loyola MAMS program in terms of getting into med school? Will this give a person a greater advantage over MAMS?

I was accepted to this program on the 7th! I have a few questions if anyone can answer them... When do classes start? I am not from the Chicago area and am wondering where are good areas to live near campus?

We will have an orientation day on August 31st and classes start on Sept. 6th. Most students find housing in Berwyn, North Riverside, Oak Park, Brookfield, Westchester, Forest Park. These are communities within a few miles of the medical center. We will be having another admissions meeting this Monday (18th). We have about 7 seats left to fill. S. Lipsius, Program Director
