LSU interviews, acceptances, anyone?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Interviews have started about 3 weeks ago

I have an interview next week at LSU-NO...don't know anything about Shreveport...

I interviewed on Sept. 27 (i think) and have not recieved any word

I don't believe that LSU Shreveport has started interviewing yet accept for early decision. We usually get an email asking us to take interviewees on tours when they start.

The new orleans adcom's 1st meeting was this past friday. They told us that they'll be mailing letters to all the 1st rounders saturday, which means we should be getting them early this week. They also said that the majority we'll probably get one of those "you're still under consideration" letters. I guess that's better than a rejection letter anyways.

Does anyone know the average stats of the accepted candidates to the two Louisiana schools for last year? I am wondering how easy/difficult it would be for a non-minority applicant with the average stats to make it to these schools.

anyone else get accepted to LSUNO yet??? just got my letter yesterday!

Congratulations. Do you know how many applicants were accepted, waitlisted, etc? Would you consider yourself an above average candidate for LSU? My guess is that all schools tend to accept the best candidates in the first round. But then, what do I know?

thanks! i'm not really sure on all those numbers. all i know is that they interviewed for 4 weeks (monday, tuesday, & wednesday only) before they sent out the first batch of letters, with about 5-7 people interviewing per day. of the people i've heard from, 2 others have gotten in and one is still "under consideration".they all had really high numbers and were above average candidates, & a few more people i know should be getting there letters today so i'll let you know.

i just got my letter today.... interviewed on 9/29

Just wanted to mention that the next committee meeting is around Thanksgiving so the next batch of letters will be sent out around the first week of December.
