Anyone know anything about the clinical phd program at louisiana state u? Is a match rate of 79% good or medium?

The average APPIC match is 75%, so in that regard it isn't horrible, but I'd think it would/should be higher. I know two people who have graduated from there, and they are excellent researchers and have solid clinical training (both academics now). YMMV, but I've never heard anything but good things about their program.
