Who else is applying to LSU? Does anyone know how many OOS they interview?
ETA: LSU only reviews the top 150 OOS folders, so probably 150 or less.

Great. Lol. Really encourages me to send them that $75 check!
Oh well, I'm in this far now. Might as well, huh?
Yes, but it would probably be off the waitlist. They go pretty deep into the waitlist each year, so don't stress too much over the situation (easier said than done, right ). I think having an interview helps, but isn't necessary for admissions. I had an interview last year and was called that same night by Jared Granier and also was emailed by one of my interviewers saying I had been accepted (OOS)
Anyone else plodding though this one... last... supplemental?
I just peaked at my supplemental (saved on my computer), and I can attempt to answer some of the questions about it based off of what I did . . . I included both volunteer and paid positions. I only listed the main vet with the contact info (the one who wrote my letter of rec, or the practice owner/person I shadowed). I actually put hours down for every animal-related experience, whether they were with a vet or not. I'm not sure if the instructions on this aspect changed from last year, or if I just went ahead and included it all anyway. Hope this helps! Also Jared Granier is the nicest person ever and would be more than happy to answer any questions via email, or even over the phone. Don't worry about bugging him - that's what he's there for, and to me he was the nicest admissions person of all!
I just paid $19 to mail a $75 check to Louisiana. Ugh. Planning ahead fail.
I just checked my status on LSU's website, and I made it to the top 150 for OOS Did anyone else make it, and if so, did your GPA calculations disappear? My GPA's had been calculated, but now they both just say TBA....?

I just checked and I got it too! The first sentence scared the crap out of me, it sounded like a typical opener to a rejection letter
For anyone's who has changed, do you mind posting your GPA (according to LSU) and GRE so I can get a feel of who is in the top 150 vs. where I am? (I understand if you don't want to, just thought I'd ask)
Maybe they didn't change everyone's status yet!Pretty sure that I'm not in the top 150, status has not changed. Boo.
No problem. We all have to support each other here! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Thanks for the optimism, goldnretrivrgrl. I'm thinking that since the last update to the system was 11/29, that the ship has sailed. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
