Hospital - 30 days x8hrs x$54 =$12,960. LTC - 8 days x 8hrs x $54 =$3456. The difference is over $9,500 like getting pay $4.56 more an hours ($58.56). You can work full time at hospital and moon light at LTC to get extra $$ while taking vacation at the hospital.

worked both. I felt like LTC Pharm had too many retail type tasks and culture. The objective was always gain as many customers from SNF/ICF/LTC homes and have the the orders be completed by as few RPh/tech possible to maximize profits.

Hospital is the obvious choice to me. Far better benefits and more potential for professional growth. You'll appreciate those 30 days off. Some places will even let you cash in unused PTO if you are like me and rarely take off.
