M1; Focus on Class or Step?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Have you tried this fabled Amboss add-on? I've heard so much about it but would like to know how it fits into doing Zanki regularly.

Yes, it's pretty good. It really helps you to fully understand the cards that you're learning. For example, let's say you're doing a respiratory path card, and you see a phrase like "psammoma bodies". Most of us would not know what that is, lol. If the add on recognizes the phrase, it'll underline the phrase in green. Then you mouse over it and it'll show a quick paragraph definition in a box. It's kinda expensive, but it's totally worth it for me. It saves so much time from having to google every single unfamiliar word or phrase in these cards.

What is this sorcery?

Please, I'm not an Amboss shill guys, I just like their product, lol.

Edit: You can do a 5 day free trial to see if it's worth it.

Sounds cool, but I think I might be willing to just Google things to save like $800.

Do you have to purchase an Amboss subscription to use it or is it free to all?

You don't need to subscribe to anything. You just enter your email on the add on page and you get to use it for 5 days until they ask you to pay to continue use.

I don't intend to spam anyone, but here is a 10% discount code for anyone who's interested. (Exhaust the free codes floating around too)

I think this code should work for any package.

Starting CPR tomorrow, so we’ll see lol. It’s worked for me so far but I’m always willing to change things up if they stop working.

Update. Did the exact same method, except this time I did not look at even the faculty slides. Just took the midterms for the C part in CPR, and I did very well on the NBME exam. Did well on faculty, but there were some things that were obviously in the slides that I had to guess on, but still very comfortably passed and am still in the range for honors.

We'll see how it works for pulmonary and renal over the next couple weeks, but if it worked for cardio, I'm convinced this is a winning formula.
