M1/M2 Summer Research

I'm a M1 and pretty set on ENT at this point (as much as I could possibly be, anyways). The summer program I am doing doesn't have any ENT related projects. Could anyone give me any advice as to what type of research I should choose (i.e. neuro, neurosurg, IM, basic science)? TIA!

Unless it would cause some sort of massive problem, I would back out of the program you're in and do ENT-related research instead.

That M1/M2 summer is a golden opportunity to get something of substance done and get on the radar screen of your ENT department.

If you can't do as the previous poster suggested, you could try and do some research in a related field like sleep (apnea etc.) or allergy. Just a thought.
