Has anyone else ever signed up to be a participant in online surveys with them? I'm an attending, so I'm fine financially. But I figured why not get paid $100 or whatever for a 20 minute survey here and there?

I have honestly been rejected from 100% of the surveys (10 or so) I have tried to partake in. Today was $300 for an hour phone survey.

The only reason I'm even annoyed is that sometimes it takes 5-10 min of answering questions before I even get rejected. As a matter of fact, a part of me wonders if their partners are using he information I provide in my preliminary survey (actually utilizing the data for their research) before they reject me. Specifically for pain research, they ask specific questions about my prescribing habits and knowledge of pain meds. Then they reject me. I feel like a sucker.

Sometimes I'll sign up for a survey within 5 minutes of getting invited. After my prelim information is given, they say they have already filled. I mean, come on!

Obviously I am unsubscribing from these emails, but I was curious if anyone has actually had success.

Yeah. Figured that out after 2 similar occurrences... figured first was probably as I was late, but when the 2nd excluded me within minutes of the invite, I figured out their scam.

No más.

I vaguely remember signing up to do surveys. The only medical experience I have is as a vet tech receptionist. I received an invitation to do a survey for 2 days and The second one involved someone coming to my home to talk to me about my financial services. At that point I canceled my invitation because the whole thing sounds very scammy to me. I'm sure someone was going to try to come here and sell me life insurance or something .Nevermind I'll pass.
