Hi,
My fiance is looking into PA programs. She is a 20 yr old junior Chem major with a 3.1 GPA, substantial research experience, & some patient care experience. Upon graduation she hopes to get into an MA program, but is also considering BA programs.
Bottomline, if she gets into a BA program but not an MA program is it worth waiting a year to strengthen her MA application?

yup- if she already has a bs it would be silly to get a second one. a yr of pt care experience would definitely improve her application potential.
see www.physicianassociate.com
and www.aapa.org for more info on the pa profession.

I agree-go for the MA program. I'm not sure, but I suspect that acceptance into a masters really isn't going to be any different than another BS (might have to take the GRE's), but I have no experience with this. L.
