All I can fit into my schedule next semester is a macroeconomics course but I'm not sure if this fills the economic prerequisite for most schools. I've been getting some conflicting information regarding whether it counts or not. Does anybody know whether just a macro course fulfills most schools econ prereq?

Thanks

I know some schools will take macro or micro but I also know that some schools prefer one over the other. You will have to go on each pharmacy school website and look at the pre-reqs. If it is not specified and you are really concerned about it, you can try calling them. If anything, it can count as another elective probably

Most schools will take Macro or Micro. Only a few schools will actually be specific.

Yeah it seems like they don't really care for one in specific, the school I applied to accepted either one.

I got mine out of the way over the summer, it was a great move on my part since the class can be quite difficult and I'm by no means an economist.

You need to go to the specific school's website or call the specific school to see exactly what they require. I have seen all sides of the spectrum - I've seen just micro required, just macro required, one or the other required, or a combination class covering both topics required.
