Hey Guys!

My school is offering a BSA degree for Biochemistry, and I'm planning to switch from Biochemistry B.S. to this B.S.A. which would allow me to have a minor in addition to my Biochemistry core! I can get a Certificate in place of a minor as well.

I'm considering a Computer Science or Forensics certificate, but I just wanted to see what you guys think would compliment my Biochemistry core better! Also, what kind of jobs i would be able to find with that Major and Cert/Minor

I know med schools don't care what my major/ minor is, but i just wanted to have some idea of a good fallback in case i don't get accepted (hopefully i do haha my GPA is kind of low but i'm working on it).

Just do a Biochem major and choose your own minor. Not sure what is the advantage of this certificate?

Your minor or certificate are worth nothing in terms of your application. Do whatever you enjoy, or do nothing if that's possible and instead enjoy your life.

No school is going to care much about any major. They are interested in what experiences you have, your GPA. MCAT, and your interview mostly. Major in something that will allow you to get a good GPA, offer you good research, and still allow you free time.
