I went to a university and first semester did not do any work. No excuses but it is what it is. Next semester same path so I dropped out. Now I'm at a CC with a 3.8 GPA after 54 credits. I want to go back to my original university but If I get straight A's, when I graduate I'll have around a 3.5 GPA. Should I go to a different university or back to the original one? I want my GPA to be the best I can be. I have no doubt I can get all A's throughout. Thanks for the replies!!

it doesn't matter which university you transfer to, i believe the AMCAS people calculate your GPA for you once application time comes around. This means they take the grades from all of your prior schools/transcripts into account
