Looking to relocate to NYC. Wondering who the biggest employers in the city are, aside from the chains. Focusing more on hospital/health system that hire new graduates. Anybody have any insight? Much appreciated.

It's either HHC (City Owned Hospitals), Columbia-Presbyterian or North Shore-LIJ. Right now I think North Shore-LIJ is the best health system in the city area. These guys keep on expanding, every hospital they purchase ends up adding hundreds of new employees.

I don't know if they hire new grads, but there is also Beth Israel Brooklyn and Manhattan, Maimonides, NYU's hospital, Long Island College Hospital, and Lenox Hill.

is duane reade still hiring, and what's the best way to get in with them? Currently an out of state P3. Thank you.

Keep in mind that Duane Reade is owned by Walgreens. They hire mostly former interns.
