I know that major does not really matter but could any current premed/med students or current physicians please say:
1. Major
2. MCAT score
3. Gpa

I'm just curious as to what other people did or think.

Adcoms don't care what your major is, only that you do well. Both MCAT and GPA are important. For MD schools, having one high doesn't overcome a poor other.

Statistically speaking, you can overcome deficits in MCAT or GPA with an excess of another. Table 25 says that people with GPAs in the 3.4 to 3.59 bracket and MCAT scores between 36-38 have a 79% chance of acceptance. People with GPAs from 3.8 to 4 and MCATs from 27-29 have a 62% chance of success- still better than a coin flip and better than the 40% success rate for all applicants.

Of course, you don't want to show up with a 2.7 and a 40 or a 4.0 and an 18. Those are the people Goro is talking about.

Major does not matter. Major in whatever you are most interested in.
