I heard in tufts, you can obtain a hygiene degree easily while attemping to gradute from dental school. You do that, then you can work as a dental hygenist after class, gain some hands on skill while making pretty good pay like 35$/hr. Anyone heard about this?

Massechusetts is the only state that allows dental students to get their hygiene liscense...at Tufts you are able to take the state exam to obtain your hygiene liscense your second year...so yeah its pretty cool you get paid pretty well.

California also allows this. passed recently

My friend is a dentist who went to Tufts. She did the same thing after her second year. This was ten years ago and I think she said she was making like 20 an hour or maybe 25. Pretty decent if you ask me. I am going to do this when I get in. Not bad for part time.
