Hello all,
I have recently signed up for kaplan classes and be starting in may 06....I am filing my application for fall 07 in beginnning of june 06 while taking my DAT in August 06....
what do you guys think of this strategy????
Is it late....is it okey????
I have bought Kaplan book and Barons book?
Does the DAT achiever help at all?

Whoever replys, get free breakfast on every sundays for a month near where I will end up at deatal school

I can't advise you on your timing issue because I am in the same boat (applying in June but trying to take the DAT next month). I will say that DAT Acheiver is a great program to use as a tool for studying. I have heard that it is harder than the real DAT as a whole, but the PAT section is ridiculous. If you can master the DAT Acheiver PAT you will probably annihilate it on the real thing. I am also using the Kaplan Blue, and Barrons for the PAT only. Top Score is another good program to practice taking the test.

On another note, I started the Kaplan class but found that it was a waste of money...And unless you are hopelessly unmotivated I would study on your own. Just my two cents.

Kaplan classes/strategy = Useless
Kaplan online resources that come with class = Invaluable

Spend the money, don't go to class and study their online content like a mad man. The only thing of substance that the class provided was some so-so strategies on cube counting.
