I honestly do not know what all I need to do to increase my chances to get into medical school. I completely bombed this previous semester and I just need advice on what I need to do to make up for that. ( I got a C- in Genetics, a C+ in Physics I and a C in General Chemistry II - never received a C before this) I realize I should not have taken them all in one semester with the RA job. I really want to go to an allopathic medical school and I am not quite willing to give up yet.

Here are my stats:

-Rising college junior at state school
-member of Honors college (will participate in research for senior thesis soon)
- Biology major/Psychology minor
- science GPA: 3.071 / bio GPA: 2.96 / cumulative GPA: 3.37
- currently taking physics 2 at community college (expecting at least a B)

- 40 hours of shadowing (internal, emergency med., family med, med/ped, pediatrics)
- Alternative Spring Break (Atlanta, GA - about 40 service hours)
- Pen pal program with local elementary school ( 20 service hours)
- currently applying to volunteer at local hospital near university
- 2nd year resident advisor

Please help with any advise that you could give. Thanks!
