I would advise calling the carrier you are thinking about and asking to speak with their claims department, the choice is as much about the claims process and their assistance as anything else. When you have a patient feel that something is your fault, the person you get to speak with at insurance company is really the "face" of the insurance company. If they are helpful, you will feel that your premium is deserved, if not, then you will not be very helpful. Most of us will not have an actual claim made, but most of us will want to call for advise at some point or another.
