PCO received my application on 10/15 and they sent a invitation for a interview on 10/21. I called today to set it up and they said the latest would be December 10th. It seems kinda late and im just wondering if there is a lot of applicants going to these interviews throughout the month of november?? could it be that I might be one of those that gets waitlisted since my interview is so late???
any thoughts or comments feel free!

I've got an interview there 12/16, only other available date was 11/23, right before thxgiving. Made my appointment yesterday, was hoping for a mid Nov interview date

Yeah I wanted my interview somewhere in mid November. December feels so late but I guess thats what happens when you submit your application at a later time. I just hope it doesn't snow when I get there cause I'm not use to the cold weather. (from Texas)

Cool I'm going to be traveling from Texas. Originally from los angeles, moved to austin july 2009. Have you received that email with the interview and traveling info? I was told I was going to get an email when i scheduled my interview date, but haven't received anything yet.

Austin is a nice city to live in, I actually went and graduated at UT this past May. I didn't get anything about travel through email. They just sent a letter stating my schedule interview appointment and that I have to bring it when I arrive on campus on the day of the interview.

Good luck, I am a first year at PCO and so far it has been an incredible experience. Hopefully you will be able to join me here next year. The interview is stress free and everyone is super nice.

Oh awesome, were you part of the pre-optometry professional society (POPS) at UT last year?

eyeguy34 Im excited to check it out, how was the interview like?? is the main campus area safe to live?? I heard the clinic is in a rough part of the town but I could be wrong.

GGmylifestyle nope, wasnt involved because I was in another organization that had the same meeting date/time. I try to attend some meetings where they had guest speakers from different schools.

eyeguy....what other schools had you applied to? Why did you choose PCO in the end? I'm heading out there in January....they had ZERO dates that were earlier (aside from Xmas week), ugh.

i got an email to come in for an interview a month before it.
i got my acceptance notice three days afterwards.

its been like this for the cycle
good luck on your applications

Hey guys!

I am going to PCO class of 2015. I visited SCCO, Western, UC berkeley, and PCO. PCO was the most convincing of all! They have been around the longest and have the best eye clinic! The only downside if any that i saw...was the weather! Its cold! You also need a car because the eye clinic is not right next to the university. I will be attending PCO and I am really excited!
