Does anyone know about Marianjoy rehabilitation hospital? I just got an interview invitation from this program.

Disclaimer: this is all second hand info
1. I have been told they are in a nice, secluded forest reserve area in Wheaton, Illinois which is a pretty laid back, safe, upscale suburb west of Chicago.
2. I have been told that it is a stand alone rehab hospital without other medical speciaties present, therefore PM&R residents do a LOT more medicine than elsewhere, such as running codes.

I don't think the program has much of a reputation. I would wait to see how many interviews you get and if you get a good number, I wouldn't bother with this program. I thought about interviewing there too because I got an early invitation, but after I got one from RIC and UC, I decided not to go. I wound up just going to the RIC interview. In retrospect, I wish I would've been more selective about the interviews I went to. I wish I would've spent more energy and time on interviews for TYs.
