I'm currently a D2 student at Marquette. Two years ago on Dec. 1, my file was put on hold (what they do with those not accepted in the first round), In Jan., I was officially waitlisted, got accepted in mid-April, and am currently halfway through second year. So there is some hope for you all who didn't get in today. Best of luck!
I was in state, Marquette takes exactly 40 in state and 40 out of state (Wisconsin supplements in state tuition), so I imagine they have 2 separate lists, and the out of state waitlist would be longer because a lower percentage of out of state students accept.
I guess it depends on how many others select schools other than MU...
plus, if out of staters opt for other schools I would think MU would give more consideration to WI resdents.
chirp, chirp... no takers?
I am hoping there are not 230 of us trying for ~30 spots. Good luck guys! Maybe the new year will bring much better news! 🙄
Who will not pick Marquette?
Like, if you are accepted to more thatn one school, how many of you have
another 1st choice?😎
pmantz should get accepted just for his avatar! Genius!
Ok, well I am waitlisted at Marquette and they told me I will know a final decision by Jan. 15. Are some people on a "hold?" Because Im not on hold im waitlisted. Is there a difference?
I got " Hold" letter from Marquette. What does it mean? Am I still qualifitied to be interviewed or is it sort of waiting list?
