Just received an e-mail from Maryland for an interview invite... i'm scheduled for Jan 24th. For those of you that haven't heard from Maryland, don't give up hope. My application has been complete since August, and they are just getting back to me now..

This is my first interview, other than my state school so I'm stoked!...will there be other SDNers there with me on the 24th?

the secondary app came at the same time as my interview invite.....i have 1 week to fill that out and fax it in.

my aadsas status still states "received/waiting additional information"

i'm so happy for you. good thing you mentioned this, cuz I was thinking that I haven't even been asked to fill out their secondary.

Congratulations!! You give me hope that I still have a chance at Maryland. My app was completed in late Sept- early October. if youre just hearing from them now and your app was complete in Aug, thats a good sign...

e-mail....received the invite and secondary at the same time, but in 2 separate e-mails.

Dude, all I can say is that you are going to LOVE Maryland. Baltimore is a cool city and that school is just downright ridiculous. Everything from their facility to their philosophy is top notch. I absolutley loved it and if I weren't married and had family out here I would go in a second. Good luck and enjoy!

why does it seem like everyone is married??
i feel like most dental students are married and most predents are newly weds/engaged.
ugh.
i hope this doesn't affect the social scene in d-school.

i wouldn't worry too much about the social scene...being married doesn't mean we can't go out and drink you under the table...it just means we can't make out with you after we drink you under the table. 😀

When did you get email from them saying that your application has been considered. I just got an email from them saying that my application is consideed and will update soon. Does that mean I will get an interview invitation soon? Good Luck for your interview

i got the initial "application complete" e-mail in september (i took DAT in late august).... heard nothing from then until a couple of days ago when i got the email invite.
