Hey all,

I guess to some this may be a stupid debate, but I'm wondering what to do. Just wanted to get some opinions. I enjoyed my visit to MD very much and really like the clinical program...plus I'm a MD resident. On the other hand, UConn's big selling point is the opportunity to specialize (or raise my chances). I guess it's kind of hard to make a decision on where I want to spend the next four years based on a dream (to specialize) that may fade by the time my 4 years are up! So....do you think if i decided to go to MD I would be burning any bridges, ie. ruining my chances of having the opportunity to specialize.

thanks peeps!

the most important thing you have to worry about is what you do after you get into dental school, not which one you go to to specialize. those are both great schools and will get you into any specialty you want after you are done. the thing that kills me about these things is the idea that one school will allow you to specialize no matter what you do and one won't even if you are in the top five. Doesn't make any sense and is not the way it happens in real life. go where you are comfortable with the faculthy and school and where you will learn the most.
