Maryland Under Review

My AADSAS status for Maryland says "application complete/under review" and was told the same thing when I called. Does Maryland send many interview invites after December 1st?

if you look at the predents data from previous years, you can see who had interviews after dec. as well as when they got their acceptance notice. this is awful, isn't it?

I haven't checked predents yet, but are you saying that there hasn't been a lot of post-Dec. 1st interviews and acceptances?

if you look at last years stats, you will see that there were interviews after dec 1 and acceptances for people who interviews before and after dec. 1. example: you interviewed on nov 4th but didn't get a dec 1 acceptance but you got in on dec 15th or even later.


keep in mind that predents only represents a fraction of those applying.
i found this reassuring.

Thanks for the info. I just figured that they receive a lot of applications a year so that's why they still haven't gotten to mine. I applied like really early though so who knows...

I know they're looking over our apps, as they asked me to clarify coursework (explain how I would complete some labwork before matriculation in 6/2010). They're definitely looking them over; I REALLY hope they give me an interview, because they're one of my two top choices!

They already accepted me, so trust me I know the process. You'll get the interview, think POSITIVE! lol

I was notified via e-mail.

Dr. Meehan had e-mailed me asking for clarification regarding labwork/ course number clarification. The following day I received an e-mail asking me to complete the supplemental app.

BTW - it's technically not an interview invite yet; just the supplemental app.

I hope you make it to the next step of the application process soon...I know I'm ready for an interview and acceptance at this point so I can start focusing on preparing for dental school rather than running the 50/50 (if I get in/ if I don't get in) game plan...

I've been living in Baltimore city for the past 10 years...love it.
I'll either just cab it from my house to UMd, or I'll drive and park in the garage there, as street parking in that area is no good.
