Hi,

Im planning to enroll in a Masters program in a non-clinical topic.I have a
few questions-

1.What are the majors available?

Master of Public Health... Master of Business Administration

you did ask for non-clinical areas right?

2.What are the job opportunities after I finish the program?

Hmm.. very bad. Don't bother unless you will be happy making a fraction of what you could as a clinical dentist.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Im not interested in a fulltime job as a dentist. So I was planning to pursue Masters in a non -clinical topic.

I heard of topics like-Dental Boimaterials,Oral pathology,Oral biology...

1.How about going for these subjects?

2.What are the job options available after its completion?

I would highly appreciate any advice in this matter.

Thanks a lot.

It depends on what your ultimate career goal is. Research? academia?
The MS option is a little unusual without a specialty. Some schools don't even accept "Terminal Master's" students.

Maybe you should look at Dental Public Health too.
