One of the programs in one of the graduate schools I'm applying to is called Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences – Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology.

However, my only concern is about getting licensed. The programs does not integrate a licensing track, therefore I must do it independently. Does anyone happen to know how hard it might be for me to obtain licensure, considering the classes I have to take. I live in New Jersey.

Here is the link to the program's curriculum and overview:

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you everyone in advance. :]

See p. 4/part c. of http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/laws/profcounlaws.pdf

NJ requires 60 graduate credits to qualify for licensing as a Professional Counselor. Assuming that ALL 27 credits (33 minus the 6 thesis credits) from your Masters transfer, you will still have 33 more to go.

Why do this instead of a program designed to lead you toward licensure?

Update! I found out the school has the rest of the credits needed for licensure.

It's a post program that leads up to NJ licensing. :]

Thanks for your help.

Just be prepared for the workload after graduating then. The average is about 1.5 years of full time supervised therapy after graduation to receive enough hours for LPC. In addition to that you're studying for the LPC exam and taking classes. It's definitely doable but only carefully.
