Hi,

I recently completed the 8 hour MAT waiver training course. I received my certification but must wait for my DEA number/state license to apply for the waiver. This seems like something that could be important to have on my ERAS application. I do not see a particular spot on my app for certifications.

Should I add this to my application? If so, what section should I add it to?

Thanks!

Why? I'm tryin to figure out what you can do with it. It's not like attendings will let an intern just prescribe Suboxone. If this isn't the norm in a residency, then I don't think they'd be set up for you to make use of this waiver.

I mean, it shows some interest in an area of psychiatry which is nice, but I don't otherwise think it's useful.

Would definitely not put it as its own activity. If you can just slip it in with another related activity you have listed that would be okay. I don't think it will make a difference.
